The Best Of The Greek Islands

​There are literally thousands of Greek Islands, here are some of notable distinction.

Santorini
Considered by many the must see Greek Island. It attracts hikers, artists and notably photographers from around the world. It has beautiful volcanoes, and many tony shops and cafes.

Crete
Is the single largest of the Greek Islands. It runs for an astounding 173 miles, with a width of 30 miles. Crete is an island that offers more then just beautiful sandy beaches. Hikers are attracted to this Island due to the many mountains that inhabit this island. It also has many more more trees then any of the other islands, it's certainly has a lot of variety to offer visitors.

Corfu
Notable for it's aesthetic look and feel of Europe. It has similar architecture to that seen in Italy, however one can acquire all of the Greek specialties on this Island too.

Mykonos
Trendy, younger travelers tend to gravitate to the Island of Mykonos. It has the look and feel of Monaco. It features some of the trendiest shops that presents the designs and wares of the top designers from all around the world.

Skiathos
For those that crave nature over technology, Skiathos, is the Island most nature lovers tend to visit. It is an Island with some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe, and one of them, Big Banana Beach, boasts a nature conservatory.

Naxos
Travelers to the Islands that seek a lot of variety in restaurants tend to gather in Naxos, it said to have the most restaurants of all the Greek Islands, and many ports along the beautiful boardwalk.

Sifnos
Some visitors, that like to be totally immersed in Greek culture, may prefer the Island of Sifnos, all the signs are in Greek. This island is mostly visited by Greek people or other visitors, who prefer, more calm to loud discos, this Island has the least amount of discos out of the Greek Islands.

These beautiful Islands have attracted for visitors from around the world for hundreds of years and will continue to be the world's center playground.
